BruxZir® Solid Zirconia

BruxZir Solid Zirconia is a high strength zirconia material. An esthetic alternative to PFM metal occlusal and full cast restorations, BruxZir is an ideal restoration for patients who grind their teeth. A “more brawn than beauty” material, BruxZir is a durable, zirconia product with consistent results.

• Strength: Average 1,150 - 1,250 MPa

Indications:

• Single units up to full arch bridgework

• All PFZ and full contour restorations

Preparation:

Shoulder preparation not required; feather edge is okay. Conservative preparation with a least 0.5 mm of occlusal space, with 1.0 mm being ideal.

Cementation:

A resin-reinforced glass ionomer cement such as RelyX™ Luting Cement from 3M ESPE or GC Fuji Plus™ from GC America.
